The Rainbow Bridge
There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth.
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge, There is a land of meadows,hills, and valleys with llush green grass.
When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place.
There is always food and water and warm spring weather.
There is one thing missing.
They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth.
So each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up.
You have been seen and when your special friend meet, you take him or her in your arms and embrace.
Your face is kissed again and again and again , and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated. |
虹の掛け橋
天国と地上を結ぶ掛け橋があります。
7つの色を持つその橋は虹の掛け橋と呼ばれています。
虹の掛け橋のこちら側には緑の草の生い茂る草原や丘そして谷が広がっています。
愛する動物が亡くなった時、動物はこの場所にやってきます。
そこにはいつも食べ物と水と暖かい春の日差しがあります。
年老いた動物達も弱った動物達も再び若返ります。
体が不自由になっていた動物達もすっかり元通りになっています。
みんなで一日中遊んでいます。けれどひとつだけ足りないものが有ります。
地上で自分達を愛してくれた特別な人がそこにはいません。だから毎日動物達は走り、遊び続けます。
選ばれたものが突然遊ぶのをやめて、何かを見上げる特別な日がやってくるその時まで。
その瞬間、その子の耳はピンとたち、眼はじっとなにかを見つめています。
そして仲間から飛び出し駆け出していきます。あなたがとうとうやってきたのです。
あなたとあなたの特別な友が出会い、あなたはその子を腕の中に固く抱き締めます。
その子はあなたのほほに何度も何度も何度もキスをして、あなたはあなたの信じられる最高の友である動物の眼をもう一度じっとみつめます。
そうしてふたりは虹の掛け橋をいっしょに渡り、二度と離れる事はありません。
